ANNOUNCING ELECTION OF  ARCSD  DIRECTORS

NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT THE FOLLOWING ELECTIVE OFFICES OF THE APPALOOSA ROAD COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT ARE TO BE FILLED AT THE GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024.

                                                             TWO (2) DIRECTORS - 4 YEAR TERMS

                                                               ONE (1) DIRECTOR - 2 YEAR TERM

CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE MAY OBTAIN NOMINATION PAPERS BETWEEN JULY 15 AND AUGUST 9, 2024 (If incumbents fail to file for re-election the date will be extended to August 14, 2024 for everyone other than incumbents).   NOMINATION PAPERS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CALAVERAS COUNTY ELECTIONS OFFICE, 891 MOUNTAIN RANCH ROAD, SAN ANDREAS.                                            

 ·       DIRECTORS ARE TO ATTEND QUARTERLY PUBLIC BOARD MEETINGS

 ·       BE INVOLVED IN DECISION MAKING FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, REPAIRS, BUDGETING AND LONG-TERM GOALS FOR THE ROADS WITHIN OUR DISTRICT

 QUALIFICATIONS:

APPLICANTS MUST BE A REGISTERED VOTER RESIDING WITHIN THE DISTRICT
