Appaloosa Road School Bus Turnaround Will Be Part of Highway 4 Realignment
Early on in the discussions of the Wagon Trail Project Caltrans understood that the school bus stops along State Route 4 at the Appaloosa Road intersection for student pickup and drop-offs. Caltrans requested that Calaveras County create a bus turnaround just off of Appaloosa Road to allow school buses to safely pull off of the highway for student pickups and drop-offs.
As part of the Highway 4 realignment Wagon Trail Project the County will be constructing a bus turnaround on Appaloosa Road inside the Appaloosa Road Community Services District.
